OUR SOCIAL IMPACT – 2010 – thru May 2019

  • 40,512 patient visits logged at our primary health care clinics
  • 6,366 patients have received dental services
  • 10,428 men, women, and children treated in 16 rural health clinics in partnership with visiting health teams from the United States
  • 74 village schools have new classrooms, running water, bathrooms, new roofs, retaining walls or a new kitchen
  • 262 families have new composting latrines
  • 18,000 people have running water in their homes in 26 communities
  • 33 elementary and junior high schools (over 4,000 students) received computers and 131 teachers received technology training
  • 548 scholarships have been awarded to students to attend junior high and high school
  • 241 families have new or improved houses
  • 2,532 students and teachers are benefiting from new text books
  • 5,100 families received a vented, safe Chapina stove improving the lives of over 26,000 people
  • 300 adults attend classes each week at the Learning and Skills Center
  • 1,000 students in 56 schools participated in our Teachers Helping Teachers program 2012-2014
  • 13 communities have new clean, secure community centers where village meetings or monthly health clinics are held
  • October 6, 2016 – Opened a primary care health center and dental clinic in Santo Domingo
  • February 1, 2018 – Opened a vocational and skills center in Santo Domingo
  • August 1, 2018 – Opened a satellite medical and dental clinic in El Sapito
