OUR SOCIAL IMPACT – 2010 – 2017

  • 31,709 patient visits logged at our primary health care clinics
  • 2,712 dental patient visits
  • 8,128 men, women, and children treated in 16 rural health clinics in partnership with visiting health teams from the United States
  • 58 village schools have new classrooms, running water and bathrooms, new roofs, retaining walls or a new kitchen
  • 262 families have new composting latrines
  • 18,000 people have running water in their homes in 26 communities
  • 354 scholarships have been awarded to students to attend junior high and high school
  • 188 families have new or improved houses
  • 2,532 students and teachers are benefiting from new text books
  • 4,302 families are cooking with a safe, vented Chapina stoves improving
    the lives of over 13,000 people
  • 1,000 students in 56 schools are learning new reading and math skills
    through our Teachers Helping Teachers program
  • 11 communities have new clean, secure community centers where
    village meetings or monthly health clinics are held
  • 2,500 students in 16 elementary schools are learning technology skills
  • October 6, 2016 – opened a new health center in Santo Domingo
  • February 1, 2018 – will open a new vocational center in Santo Domingo
